How do I record audio AND midi to quantize sounds from my Korg Triton to Logic Pro with my Apogee Duet2?

I am able to record the audio with the 1/4" cables but I can not quantize the sounds because I am recording just an audio track. How do i midi these sounds?? Also, do I have to use two 1/4 calbles or can I just use one and go out of my headphone jack? I only have to inputs on the Duet2 and I want to keep my mic plugged at the same time as my triton.

iMac, iOS 6.0.1

Create an External Instrument track in Logic to record your MIDI performance coming out of the Triton.

MIDI and audio are two completely separate things. MIDI does not contain any audio information, and audio does not contain any MIDI information.

Since you said you want to quantize your performance, there's actually no point in you recording the audio at the first stage. You should simply record the MIDI performance, then quantize it in Logic and play it back through the Triton, then record that quantized performance as audio.
