Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

I changed set date and time automatically to "no" and I was able to activate iMessage. This seems contrary to all the troubleshooting discussions I've been reading.

Is there any definitive info on this subject?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.0.1
