Is my MacBook Air compatible with the new Windows 8 Phone? If so, what can I expect to work with a WP8+MacBook Air combo and what will not work well? Thanks! I just want a big screen (bigger than iPhone 5) but want to avoid the compatability issues of the Android+MacBook Air.

That was OK, but doesn't fully answer my question. It seems over half of the respondants think the syncing doesn't work and the others say it works great. Of course MS is going to say it works flawlessly. Besides, the link only answers the media component of the compatiblilty. Do contacts and calendars sync seamlessly?
I have a windows phone 7.5 and I am surprised as to how cool the mac software looks and works. It works great. I also see updates to the software very often. You can sync music,, movies etc... from iTunes or anywhere in your macbook. It has a nice drag anddrop interface aswell.
