Q: MacBook Pro

I have a  late 2007 macbook pro with a new hard drive. There are no users set up on it at this time. I would like to sell it but don't know how to know what I have without setting up a user. Someone at the Mac store said F2. That is not working

Can someone tell me what key to hold down when you first turn on the machine.

Thanks!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Your signature shows 10.6.6. So, I'm assuming IF an OS is loaded on your system, it is Snow Leopard. What OS originally came with the system? If there is no OS on the drive, you will want to boot from the system DVD that was supplied with your system and install that OS. Then shutdown the machine so you can sell it.

If you're trying to find out the system specifications here is an Apple link that has some info. But it won't tell you your exact specs.
