My brother passed on. i cannot load new tunes onto shuffle. Nobody knows his password

An iPod can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. If you want to start loading content from your own iTunes library, you'll need to restore the iPod Shuffle to factory settings in iTunes.

This process wipes all content from the iPod, resets all settings back to their defaults, reloads a fresh copy of hte iPod's software onto the device, and associates the iPod with your iTunes library.
