Q: When trying to import photos into Aperture 3, I get an error message that says I need more space.

The problem is that I have 120 GB available and the CF has 32 GB. I haven't had this problem before and have been using Aperture for years. I did upgrade a few weeks ago to 10.8.2, although I had many imports after the upgrade without experiencing any problems. Any suggestions?

    Thomas,

have you checked your import settings in the "Import" panel? Sometimes this error is caused by a wrong destination setting. Where does the "Store Files" pop-up menu point to - the disk where you have 120GB or some other place?

Are you importing referenced or managed? To your internal drive or an external drive? Have you checked the permisions on the destination folder?

    Regards

    Léonie
