Can anyone help me?

I'm a new MAC user ... now have the MBP, ipad and iphone5. When someone calls me on facetime it only rings on the ipad, and has stopped working on the MBP. Is there a way to synch all of my devices (I have read that I may need to use three different emails, one for each device. Is this correct? Is there any other option?)
