How do I reassign Midi CC data in logic?

I have a region with midi cc data recorded in Logic. The cc data is recorded as foot control data, and I want the exact same data to be for modulation instead. Is there any easy way to do this?

Easiest way is to select the region or regions, open list view from the icon top right (next to the media button) and look at the data. Find a data bit corresponding to your foot control and press "return". This will select all foot control data. Then, in the "number" column, scroll from the displayed number to 1, which is the modulation cc number. Done!

If you want to do it on the fly in real time, you would need to go to the environment window, choose "clicks and ports" view from the drop down menu top left, and insert a transformer plugin between the input view display and the "to recording and through", by enabling "Cables" from the view menu and taking it from there.

If you don't know how to set the transformer window, then RTFM, as the retail shop boys love to say. (It means read the manual)

It's easy once you know how, but it may be worth spending a bit of time investigating the wonders of the environment.

Good luck!
