If you reset the iPhone, which is the equivalent of rebooting your computer, then unless something is damaged in the iPhone or iOS, no data is lost. If you restore the iPhone, then you do lose data and need to resync your contact from an iCloud back of your computer. Which is it that the technician told you to do, reset or restore?
i need to file a formal complaint, I called in after my phone would not ring and was told by the tech to reset my phone, I said if I do that everything will be deleted. He said no thats what people think but its not true and your photos will be there.im s
