Problem deleting photos

I recently purchased the iPhone 5 and transferred pictures from my Droid via a card reader and iTunes. I cannot delete pictures from the Photo Library. I have options of sharing them or adding them to another album.

How do I delete this whole album so I can just email the pictures I want? I dont need all of those photos and not being able to delete them is irritating. If I restore all of my factory settings, would that delete the album?
