I am trying to get a series of 13 lectures on pdf on ipad so I can look at them. I don't understand the procedure.

Two issues among others:

First, how do you deal with reading pdfs? I need to be able to read 13 lecture pdf's which are normally downloadable. I have the app ibooks installed on the ipad2.

Two, if you have been using Microsoft word as I have, how do I create compatible and exchangeable documents that can be filed and easily read?

For your first question, there are many ways, but the one I like is :

1- download this app (PDF-notes free) https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pdf-notes-free-for-ipad-pdf/id391487223?mt=8

2- add your documents to the app from iTune ( little bit time consuming, but good if you are just going to do this once)

3- open a Dropbox account and drop your documents to dropbbox then retrive them from the app. I prefer this way, which allow me to see my file from my cpmuter as well as iPad and iPhone ! it takes time to do it for the first time.

for your second question, I have seen it done once, but never did it my self. Check out this video
