Where is an iPad for MainStage ? Heck even just basic function like control of a fader and tap tempo !

Your question should be the other way, Is there a Mainstage for Ipad? No there´s not a Mainstage for Ipad. You may have others programs for Ipad that you can play from an keyboard. Watch some Jordan Rudness movies and you find some pretty good.

Mainstage is not meant to work on a Ipad.

If you want to use an iPad as a "control surface" for Mainstage (?) there are plenty of Apps that will allow you to do this, either over wifi or using the iOS Core MIDI.
