How to do The quotes and subscripts in pages??

You can create left and right single quotes with option + }, and shift + option + }, respectively.

Double quotes work the same way using the { character substituted above.

Menu > Format > Font > Baseline:

Superscript is control + command and +

Subscript is control + command and -

Find the settings and check what's there, usually to the top right of your screen. Also try clicking and holding a character to get options.

Another good app is Cymbol.

I've found a possible solution to insert equations and formulas without Latex or copy/paste images, only with Pages for iPad and without internet, using Pages tools. So, I have some examples of Pages documents. If you want to take a look them, give me your email and I'll send you an example.

I wonder how many realize that the System Preferences > Keyboard > Text replacement settings on OS X, are also available within an IOS Pages v2.1 document session. Certainly true for OS X 10.9.2 and IOS 7.1.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that myself. Seems like it could be a useful feature.
