I'm rather out of touch with modern webcam tech, so I'm looking for advice.

I wish to stream an iSight cam to our website (hosted externally). A simple solution would be to tell Automator to take a photo every 2 seconds and then upload that image via FTP.

This seems a very basic and old fashioned way of achieving this goal, so I wondered if anyone could recommend a more professional solution (but still free!)

Many thanks,

M.

You're welcome, M., and thanks for updating your system info ("Products") in your Profile.

Sometimes surprise is good, but sometimes it is not. The fact that QuickTime X capability is a free part of your OS should be a nice surprise.

The OS info in your updated Profile lets us know that you have access to the Mac App Store. If you need more alternatives than those you already know at this point, you can search the MAS for other possibilities.
