Will Leopard boot if the hard drive is put in a different spec G5 than what it came out of?

My late 2005 Power Mac G5 Quad 2.5Ghz recently died but I need to boot into the hard drive. If I put the hard drive into a different G5 (for example, dual 2Ghz) will it boot OK? I'm not sure if Leopard stores specific boot settings relating back to the G5 Quad's specification.

Thanks in advance!

It might, but then again you might not get the proper fan control and the machine might overheat. Better to put the drive in the second hard drive bay, and install a separate operating system on the main hard drive. Remember Mac Pros and PowerMac G5s are NOT the same machine. PowerMac G5s only have one optical drive bay, where Mac Pros have two.
