HOW DO i SYNC iPAD WITH iPHONE?

Have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. Have iPhone and iPad disconnected from PC. Have iPhone and iPad connected to PC. Have tried to sync to no avail.

Seems the only choice in INFO tab is to sync Google or Windows Contacts. I do not wish to do either. Only what is currently on iPad with iPhone. The "Contacts"t hat it initially "found," were an old Contacts file and only NAME came in. No phone, email or other info.
