How to automatically mount a wireless computer on a host computer ?

I have a Intel iMac and a MacBook Air. The iMac is wired to my home network and the MacBook Air connetcs wirelessly. How can I have my user folder on the MBA to automatically mount on my iMac when available on the network.

share it via System Preferences > Sharing > File Sharing on your MBA, then find the folder over the network, then put that folder into your user's login items on the iMac

(this will, however, give an error every time the user logs in on the iMac and the MBA isn't available, nothing serious though, just something you have to click OK on...)
