iMovie 9.08 cannot finalize a project composed from an event imported directly from mini-dv camera

iMovie 9.08 cannot finalize a project composed from an event imported directly from mini-dv camera. Computer MacbookPro Core2Duo 2,66 (End 2008). When working with other types of projects, the program writes "Preparing a large movie". then "Preparing a medium movie". With this kind (made from an event imported directly from mini-dv camera) the program writes "Preparing a 720p movie" and then, after about 3 hours, writes "Cannot finalize projet (error -49). Who knows, what happens and to find a solution?
