can I download my nook books to an ipad?

Thinking of buying an iPad but currently have a Nook e-reader. Can I download my nook books onto the iPad?

There is a Nook app which you should be able to use (assuming that it's in your country's iTune store) : US Nook app. You should then be able to link it to your Nook account and download your books into it (ebooks tend to have digital rights mangement on them, so you will need to use the Nook app to read Nook purchases). There are some FAQs on the Barnes & Noble site here - if you scroll down the page you should see a section for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
