Ipad not powering up

Replaced battery and lcd but ipad won't power up even after charging for hours the screens just black . Checked over wires and connections all looks ok

iPad, iOS 5.1.1

If "yes", then they're not meant to be customer replaceable. Consider purchasing a new iPad. It looks from your post as if you have an original iPad, which cannot run the latest operating system anyway (iOS 6.0.1).


If "no", then presumably you had some professional replace the batter and LCD for you. They're not really replaceable by anyone other than Apple, but you should contact the person (or organization) that did the replacement for you.
