My MacBook won't hold a charge!

Hi there,

I got my MacBook about 4-5 years ago as a wonderful christmas present from my family. I used to be able to get PLENTY of time out of the battery life, but now that time has passed... it no longer will hold a charge AT ALL. This is very frustrating as it impedes with my note taking in my classes. I had the battery replaced and installed about 6 months ago but it didn't make difference. I still can't get more than an hour of charge out of my laptop even with my energy saving settings. Is this something that can be fixed? Or is it just time to let it go?
