My 2009 MacBook won't connect to wifi anywhere

A few hours ago it was working fine, I took it to Uni so turned it off, the next time I turned it on at home the wifi refuses to work and airport had turned itself off. I've tried forgetting all know networks and setting it up as new but I keep getting "connection timeout" or "password invalid"
