Hi there,


actually I'm not able to update any app.

I'm stuck on the error 11111.

On my iPhone 4S with iOS5, I'm also not able to update apps.


What shall I do?

    Yeah I'm getting that error too. I tried updating my apps on my iPhone 5 on iOS 6.0.1 and they won't update and I tried on my Mac in iTunes and it says error 11111.

    I had this very same issue today. I noticed it when i tried to update an app from my iphone. Would click update than the app would quickly disapper and would still show up in the "Update".  So I went to my pc and tried to update it on itunes got the error 11111.  So i wanted to see if it was an issue with just my iphone and used my sons & husband iphone to update some of there apps.  On both iphones my account was showing up for some of there apps. Im asuming cause we all use the same pc to sync.


    ***My FIX***

    -If you share the same pc/mac and others sync there idevices on itunes most likely they have apps w/your account.

    -First thing on my husbands and sons iphone the itunes aggrement poped up so I clicked agree.

    -I went to App Store on there iphones and went thruough all there updates. Check if your account shows up in any of them.  You dont have to update there apps just click cancel.

    -If you see your account show up on any apps delete that app.

    -Then i did a reboot on my iphone.

    -I went  back to App Store on my iphone and was able to update apps!!!

    Having the same issues from all ios devices (phones & ipads) and my macbook itunes will not download the 2 current APP updates.  I have tried to delete the app (pandora) that was asking for the new 4.2 update and then go...found out that it isnt just a problem with app updates...but I can not even download any of the apps from the cloud that had previously been on my device.  The error code 11111 showed up in iTunes on my far I can not figure out how to resolve...I have rebooted ios & Macbook and that doesnt work...deleting and app and trying to reinstall doesnt work...all my devices and iTunes of the laptop are up to date... hmmmm

    I'm having the exact same problem. I contacted apple and they said supposedly that it has to do with Hurricane Sandy and that certain servers are down, affecting Itunes and iCloud. They didn't sound too sure of themselves, however. So they tried a couple troubleshooting steps and nothing worked, and their final solution was "wait a couple days and see if it works." That was literally their solution.

    i have an open repair ticket with itunes about this cause i can't update apps either on any off my devices, i get that 11111 too when i try from my pc - they've confirmed with me that its an itunes store issue and they're waiting to see how to fix or work around it

    Noone in my enviromenment has this issue, this is really bugging me as i had just deleted all of my songs only to find out i can't redownload any of them.

    It is interesting how apple is happy to charge more for the "experience" of having an apple but is in no hurry to acknoledge, respond to or fix an issue that affects customers after they have your money.  Telling a customer to wait a few days to see if the problem gets fixed in not an answer I'd expect from a company that tells the world that they have the "perfect" system, just trust us.  Sure is making android devices look better and better
