reset ipad completely!

my ipad is locked with a passcode that i can't remember. i have tried resetting the ipad, but i need the computer it was last synced with. that computer broke 3 months ago and is no longer available. i have a new computer, but it is telling me i need the passcode to access it on my computer. it is really annoying and at this point i dont care if i lose everything. i would just like to be able to use my ipad. is there anything i can do? how can i reset the ipad without the passcode or the last computer it was used on.

Try and force the iPad into Recovery Mode:

1. Turn off iPad

2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone

3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad

4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen

5. Release the Home button

6. Open iTune

7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"

8. Use iTune to restore iPad

Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad
