I have purchased a new iPhone 5. It won't set up from 3GS back up I have created.
I have deleted all photos and videos and tried again. 3 weeks later and phone not
Set up. I am totally frustrated - can somebody help- I am about to send phone back
And stay with old 3GS.

Thank you for reply. I backed up 3GS on iTunes. Tried to set up new iPhone 5 from this backup. The indicator for completion goes up incrementally and still does not complete - even overnight. I have attempted this several times. I have deleted music and Video off phone and backed up. Still won't work.
Restore as new, then sync the content you want to the device.
I am unable to set up my new iPhone 5 by restoring from 3GS backup. Am 3 weeks trying to sort this out. I am at wits end.
