i have an extra iphone4 that is not connected to a service. i have it set to airplane mode and have unticked everything that allows the phone to be recognized by any app, but the time and are still updated. I do not want this phone tracked in any way. have i done all i need to do to prevent this? thank you.

The time and date is handled by the processor in the iPhone itself. Just like the time and date are updated on your computer.

i've also removed my sim card. so using it strictly for images, video and audio sounds like it's ok. thank you.

Did you think that Apple was tracking you?
Did you think that someone else was tracking you?
