hello there. i am brand new to the mac book and i have a question already..:) im trying to down load a movie but all the torrents are "magnetic files" and safari wont down load them..does anyone out there know how i can get these movies to download and to platy on my new computer...i have a mac book pro..new edition

You can't download from a torrent using Safari, and you shouldn't be downloading anything from a torrent anyway. Torrents are hotbeds of illegal content and malware, and torrent software turns your Mac into a server for people to download from. If this movie is a commercial product you're trying to get for free, give it up and go buy a copy legally. If it's something that is free and in the public domain, ask the creator of the movie about alternate methods of downloading it.
Download a program called "Vuze", when you click the magnet link it should automatically open Vuze and start downloading the file.
