people are offering an unlock service that's similar to a factory unlock from apple?? anyone heard of this? and does apple offer a unlock service i'd rather pay them to do it, if they do? i just want my phone to work with tmobile. . . . I HATE DROIDS!!!!

Apple doesn't offer to do any unlocks, you have to do it through your cell provider.

Keep in mind that unless you are in a limited number of areas you will only have EDGE speeds on your iPhone, no Visual Voice mail and some other lack of features.
