Why does my playlist get scrambled when sent as a gift?

All my songs on the playlist are available to gift, they are just scrambled. Not alphabetically, I'm using the song number column. I even copied the list and created a new playlist in case it was listed by the order it was added to the playlist. But still does it. Why do spend all the time to plan a playlist when it changes it? That may make technical sense for some reason I don't obviously know, but it definately doesn't make sense for someone wanting to create something to share. I really hope I'm missing something easy to fix!
