Text messages appear on all my devices. How do I remove that?

I have several devices that are now connected to each other through iCloud. I did not, however, realize that a consequence would be that all my text messages appear on my children's iPhones and iPads... And vice versa. Needless to say, neither they nor I are interested in sharing these messages with each other. How do I remove this?
