Apple Id on different mac account doesn't see App purchases
- I have one Apple Id being used by one iPhone and one iPad
- On the same Mac the iPhone is used under one Mac user account
- The iPad is used under a different Mac user account, but the same Apple Id
If the purchases are linked to the Apple Id why is it that when I go into iTunes under the account used for the iPhone (no device connected) I can neither see or download the apps purchased using that Apple Id when using iTunes on the Mac user account used for syncing the iPad? Same Apple Id. This doesn't make sense to me as surely the device is authorized to the Apple Id on that machine. I can even see the purchases as a dated item in the account details within iTunes but cannot download them when using the other Mac account.
What's the go?
