if my ipod nano was wet and cannot turn on ... what should I do?

My ipod Nano was put into the washing machine, and now cannot turn on.. is there any problem to restore it?

It may help to place the iPod into a sealed container or dry rice to help absorb some of the moisture. Change the rice daily for up to a week. Desiccant works even better.

Just be patient and wait about a week to be 100% positive that all the moisture has either dried up or been absorbed by the rice.

However, if you tried turning the iPod while it was still wet, it could have shorted circuited some of the internal components and fried the device. Only time will tell.

If you are able to power the iPod on after letting it dry for a week, connect it to iTunes and restore it to factory settings as well.
