Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have an ipod touch 4th gen. The screen stays frozen on the black screen with the white apple logo. I have tried the reset with the home button and the on/off button on the top right. Nothing works. It just stays on that screen. I hooked it to the computer this morning to itunes and it said it was syncing and updating but all the while the screen was still frozen black with the white apple logo.... What can fix this??

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
