My iMac OSX10 magnifies my scans from the wireless HP 5524 by 10 times. where is the problem? they look ok on the preview on the printer

When I transmit a scan from my HP5524 to my Imac, the picture on the screen only displays part of the image, and it is approx10 times the original. There must be a setting somewhere to change.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)

Hi,

I assume you launch the scan from the printer screen, am I right?

If so follow the steps below to resolve the problem:

1. Open the HP Utility and select your device.

2. From Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".

3. Click the "Scan Tasks" tab.

4. Select the Scan Shortcut used to scan, then click Edit.

5. In the section of Scan from an HP Device click on the blue triangle or the Show Details button to enlarge the menu.

6. From the enlarged menu now open the drop-down menu next to Crop To and set as None.

7. Click OK and try scanning again.
