I have tried to upgrade from itunes to 10.6, 10.7 and other versions, but keep getting an error stating that I can with the current version. I'm no sure what to do... Please help.

It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. I have a Macbookpro on Mac OS X v10.5.8 and can not seem to upgrade to another version. Please help
