OK. One day Compressor is working with a quick cluster set up and today it's not. All the settings are correct in QMaster and everything seems to be the same BUT Compressor 4.0.5 is not recognizing any cluster set up. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is it a 10.8.2 issue? All input is welcomed.

The Require these Services box should be unchecked, but I doubt that's your problem. Funnily enough I lost my QC last week. What worked for me was runningCompressor Repairtwice – quitting– each time trashing preferences – and repairing permissions in Disk Utility after each repair.
If that doesn't work, I'd reinstall (and repair permissions once again).

I had this happen two times in the last two weeks. I wiped my HD and install a backup (before problem) from the beginning of the month. Same thing happen... I did the Hokey Pokey and that fixed it.
I Unchecked 'Share this computer' restated the computer and Compressor worked. I'm going to be honest... I removed Compressor and reinstalled it again... nothing. I ran Compressor Repair... nothing. Did a few other things... nothing. I think it just start work for no reason. And of course I did the Hokey Pokey. That must have fixed it.
I neglected to mention before my first post that I did delete the app, reinstall it, hard cycle the computer repaired permissions and glared at it. All to no avail. Then after posting it just decided to work. Really didn't change a thing and then it worked. Hhhmmm. Must be the hokey pokey.
