Buggy Word Processing- Mac Pro
All word processing in my Mac Pro has recently gone buggy (ie. repeater lettering). This includes Mac Mail, Pages ('09) and Numbers ('09). I'm running 10.6.8. Any ideas?

More hardware info would help.
If you have wireless keyboard and mouse check batteries. Check your key repeat settings in System Preferences> Keyboard. Disconnect, turn off Mac Pro and restart. Have you recently dropped or spilled something on keyboard?

Hi Peter,
don't have wireless keyboard or mouse. Will definitely check the keyboard settings in preferences. Thanks. Haven't spilt anything on the keyboard but it is old. Maybe it's time to purchase a new one. I'm using 2 x 2.66 GHz Dual core Intel Xeon processors with 6 GB of memory on a Mac Pro 1,1.
I would definintely suspect the keyboard. Trying another keyboard would be the best test if possible.
