is there a way to return a wrong buy? a whole cd for example
i bought a cd thinking it was something else. is there any way to unpurchase it
if you bought it new and opened it don't be surprised if whoever you bought it from won't take it back.

Do you really mean a CD as in a plastic disc? Apple doesn't sell those.
Do you mean an album? iTunes Store terms are all purchases are final. They have been known to grant exceptions but I suspect you would have to have a very good case.
