Previously used Handbrake to back up my DVDs... my kids scratch them up like crazy, so backups are a must! Handbrake no longer seems to work with Mountain Lion... unexpectedly quits. Any suggestions?

If they're homemade movies, please post back with a little more info (format of video, etc).
If not, it is most likely because there would be copyright/DRM issues involved if these are commercial DVDs. The law currently states that you are not allowed to copy commercial content even though you paid for the DVD; consequently, we are not allowed to discuss methods to bypass such laws.
