Luckily I backed up my computer with timemachine before updating, so I have all of my event files but they are in hundreds of .ics files. Is there a way to somehow get all of my ical calendar and events back?

After updating from snow leopard 10.6 to mountain lion 10.8, all of my calendars and events got deleted. How can I restore my old calendars?
