iPad Mini with Wintac software

Darden Restaurants operates almost 2,000 restaruants (Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Longhorn Steakhouse, and others) and I'm told they use Wintac Software (Intac International, Inc.). But the servers in these restaurants still use a pen and paper pads to take orders from their customers. With the introduction of the iPad Mini, there is a opportunity for an App developer to create an App that brings the software interface onto the iPad Mini. Problem: Wintac is Windows ONLY software. Can it be done?
