That's too bad. Try basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide.


If you really want help, be specific about what is or is not occurring.


Stating something is "not working" is a complete waste of time, you might as well not say anything. "not working" could mean anything from it will not turn on, it will not detect networks, to the user being too dense/lazy to enter the correct credentials for authentication.

I don't know if you are an Apple employee or just a hard core Apple lover as you try to defend by all means Apple iPhone. I just bought an iPhone, brand new, and wi-fi goes on and off, either at home or at the office. I don't have that problem with the iPad which works great. I have read a lot of complaints about the wi-fi connection, Apple should take it seriously.

I would suggest restarting the device (power off / on), reset network settings. If it won't connect, Power cycle router. If it won't connect - verify there are no firmware upgrades available for your model of router. Change the router password - Try to connect again.


If your device will connect to any other wifi network (Open or secure), the problem lies with your router - not the phone. If your device will not connect to ANY network, then the phone may need service.
