Suggestion: resume last played button/option

I listen to my favorite radio show via the podcasts app very often. At least twice a day (my way to work, my way back) I go into my car, go to the app, go to the podcast, scroll to the episode that is marked as "half played", click to play it.

In ios5, it was a better experience because it was inside the music player and I could usually just do double-tap on the home button and play to start last podcast episode play.

There should really be an option of "resume last play" or "playing now" from the home screen of the app. Will make my life much easier!
