I am unable to install a program from an unidentified developer. Can anyone help with this?I had a programm installed from this developer previously.

System Preferences>Security & Privacy>General>Unlock to make changes.
You should also be able to "Control-Click" on the application, select "Open" from the popup, and then you will be prompted if you really want to open this app. If you agree, the app will be allowed to run from that point forward.
...and frankly, I'd follow Bob's suggestion here instead of opening your Mac generally to software from all sorts of sources...
