Itunes and computer can't detect ipod.Tried troubleshooters and still no good.

Did you try

iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

or

iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Mac OS X

Have you tried another computer?

Another cable?

To get your computer to recognize your Ipod you will have to open your device manager and under USB connections you should see an Apple USB that has a yellow Triangle with an exclammation point inside. If you uninstall this then plug your ipod back in it should re-install the device.

In regards to Itunes not recognising your Ipod, I am having the same issue and no troubleshooting works. I believe this is a side-effect of the ne update Itunes 10.7.0.21. I have yet to find a fix but it is very annoying when I can't sync any devices.
