iphone 4 is not connecting to wifi signals

It happened to me the same issue after every update of the OS. I tried the following things.

1.Settings->General->Reset->Reset network settings

2.Settings->WI-FI->Select your network and forgot that

3.Change the network password in your home wireless router (Router admin settings)

4.Update the new password in your iphone for your home wifi.


It worked for me very well on each upgrade. Not sure this is the right solution, but it may helps someone and worth trying.


Only issue is we need to change the password in all our other devices connecting to this router after we change the password.

Hi I purchasesd an iphone 4 with ios 6.0.1 loaded. It connect to 3G and my wifi without any issues. Suddnely my iphone did not connect or list any wifi routers.


I have restored ios through itunes

I have removed all wifi devices listed on the modem


There are no networks listed

Cannot connect manually to any network even after removing security from router


Can connect other iphone, sony and three notebooks.


Tried other wifi networks and it sees non

The problem of wifi disable in the iphone 4s is by the software, by the update. After to do all the recomendations that are in internet (you tube, forum in Apple, seekers, etc) and none worked, they changed the hardware, wifi antenna and did not work. Because Apple has not released a statement about this big problem. Because it takes an update for resolved this problem. I'm a lover of all the Apple, but with this little support and warranty, we will review other brands the tecnology.
