I have tried everythin', it doesn't work and that's it.
I did the doctor thing and it shows me the red bullet for the outgoing sever. I checked the login credentials and they were correct.
could u please help?! I really want to properly use the Mail app from u.

Did you try rebooting the modem, my yahoo modem needs a reboot now and again. Try calling Yahoo help 855-272-4029

I was not aware that Yahoo manufactured modems, what model number is yours?

Before you do that please post the settings you are using for Yahoo (omit your username and password) I need to see the Mail Servers and the security settings and the port numbers (all of which are in Mail>Preferences>Accounts)

TLS Certificate: none
IMAP Path Prefix: (blank)
Port: 933 with tick on "Use SSL"

Yes, you posted the iMap settings, I need to see the SMTP settings (the ones you are having trouble with?) so click on the Outgoing Mail Server dropdown, (the one that says Yahoo (offline) select Edit server and post them here.

nope, it doesn't work. even it doesn't promt that the message is not being send:(.
Call Yahoo support and work it out, make sure you have the correct settings
smpt Yahoo! server doesn't send my mails. WHY?!
