Airport express: app and printing from ipad1

Two parts: 1) can I use the airport app on ipad1 to configure/manage airport express? 2) can I print using airport express (not extreme) from ipad1?

iPad, iOS 5.1.1

Yes, you can use the airport app to manage your airport. I use it, so I know. If the printer(s) are on the same network as the ipad, and the printers are airprint enabled, you can print to them.

Just re-read your post, sorry. Not sure about airport express, but would imagine so. It's a free app, so you having nothing to lose by downloading it.

Yes, you can use the Airport app to configure an Airport Express. Works very well. In fact, I like the iOS app better than the Mac app.

I use the app from my ipad2 and agree with you about ease of use. I want to give a friend who has an ipad1 an airport express and was unsure about compatibility. Thanks.
