iTunes EQ resets itself after every song

Hello,

I'm having a problem with my (Dutch! But I'm Flemish :-)) version of iTunes, which is 10.7.0.21. I'm running Windows 7 Professional with all the latest updates.

When I want to play an album or a playlist, iTunes keeps resetting its EQ after every song.

I already tried to simply select all the albums in my library in one time (ctrl + a) and then applying the EQ, didn't work.

I also made a predefined EQ setting, didn't work, it kept resetting itself.

Could someone help me on this issue please?

Thanks a lot in advance!

The songs in your iTunes Library may have individual EQ presets which override those set in the iTunes EQ window. You would think this would be the other way around, but it's not.

Song EQs can be reset. On a Mac, select all >⌘I (or CTRL click - Get Info) > Options > Equalizer Preset > none. Should be a similar process in Windows. You can then set a global EQ on iTunes and it will actually work. But you will lose any individual presets.

Hope this helps.
