hi my ipod is not starting when i turn it on it has a password that was created by a differant owner who is no longer around it was found at a hotel and after a month they gave it to me but it has a password i do not know i would like help on making this my own ipod thankyou

Do as the manual says to do and restore the ipod.
If you are unable to restore, then type "unable to restore" into the search bar at the top of this page by Support and read the resulting help article
